Working with AFD experts


On april 20th, 2015, Dung Quat College of Technique and Technology received the expert delegation from French Development Agency (AFD) in their schedule of visiting and working in Vietnam to promote the Project of “Investment to develop high quality technical and vocational training institutions” using ODA loan from French Government.

The delegation included Mr. Arnauld De Nadaillac – head counselor of project AFD-TV02 (the sub-project of Project of “Investment to develop high quality technical and vocational training institutions), Mr. Jean–Jacques Diverchy – automotive expert, Mr. Tran Van Nhu - – automotive expert and Mr. Cao Thien Thai – project management officer. Doctor Nguyen Hong Tay – rector of Dung Quat College of Technique and Technology, Mr. Nguyen Van Than, Mr. Nguyen Duy Dung – vice rectors and some relevant managers received the delegation.

On this mission, the AFD expert delegation had meeting with faculties and departments which are relevant to the training management of the College; surveyed the classrooms, workshops, library, dormitory…. The delegation had meeting with large enterprises in Dung Quat Economic Zone, Chu Lai Opened Economic Zone, VISHIP Quang Ngai and others in the region such as VinaSoy who have recruited the College graduated students, made survey on their satisfaction of the students’ qualification. They also studied the labour demand on the vocations (trained at Dung Quat College of Technique and Technology) that are the beneficiary of the ODA AFD Project. The delegation went to construction site checking the project implementation. In addition, they did the evaluation on the actual training programs, training equipments and facilities. The two sides also discussed the training plan for the trainers and management staff preparing for applying the France training programs and equipments on 2016.
